Each wall also carried with it a QR code that students could scan to interact with a larger body of content found on the digital heritage trail that we built in conjunction to the physical walls.
The web application development was an important aspect of the project as the client wanted to give their alumni residing overseas an opportunity to be part of the commemorative event. Upon launching the application on any digital device, users are able to “walk through” the gallery, much as if they were physically there. They are then able to click on the various walls to see the very same content as in the school, and access additional information as a digital bonus.
